1.      WILL WORK WITH MY MOBILE PHONE?

As long as you have an unlocked GSMphone, the should work with your existing mobile phone.

 

2.      HOW DO I KNOW IF MY PHONE IS LOCKED OR NOT?

You will know that your phone is locked if, when you insert the and enter your PIN, your screens’s display does not change or you get either of the following messages on your screen:

"INSERT SIM" or "SIM not valid"

 

3.      "INSERT SIM" MESSAGE ARRIVES AFTER INSTALLATION OF THE SIM CARD

 

The possible reason

-         Bad contact between the SIM card and the handset

-         The mobile phone is out of order

-         If it does not help, the SIM card should be replaced

 

How to act

 

-         Remove the card, clean the contacts of the card and the card back into the handset

-         To check the card, insert it into some other handset

 

4.      IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE AND RECEIVE CALLS

 

The possible reason

 

-         The phone is not registered in the network of the operator

-         There is no GSM network covering zone

-         There is no money on the balance of the card, while in your specific country the incoming calls are payable

 

How to act

 

-         In the "options" menu choose an automatic choice of the network

-         Find a covering zone

-         Add balance

 

5.      IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE AN OUTGOING CALL (THE INCOMING CALLS ARE RECEIVED)

 

The possible reason

 

-         There is no money on the balance

-         Wrong number or wrong way of dialing

 

How to act

 

-         Add balance

-         Make a call using correct dialing format and dial existing numbers

 

6.      WHEN MAKING A CALL, A VOICE MESSAGE IN ENGLISH COMES " THE DIALED NUMBER CAN NOT BE REACHED WITH THIS GSM CARD" or on the OR ON THE DISPLAY THERE COMES A MESSAGE "THE CALL IS CHANGED", "CALL RESTRICTED", "CALLS NOT ALLOWED" AND NOTHING MORE HAPPENS

 

The possible reason

 

-         The phone doesn’t support the program facility of the SIM card

-         The handset processes the inquiries of the SIM card incorrectly

 

How to act

 

-         Call from the menu

 

7.     WHEN TRYING TO CALL FROM THE MENU, A MESSAGE APPEARS ON THE DISPLAY: THE HANDSET DOESN’T SUPPORT SERVICE COMMAND FROM or  MENU IS ABSENT IN THE PHONE

 

The possible reason

 

-         The handset does not support the program functions of the SIM card

-         It is forbidden to use USSD dialing in the network of the operator (USSD dialing is forbidden in the UAE and some other countries)

 

How to act

 

-         Do not call using the menu, instead use a special Scheme:

*146* & country code & push the "call" key 

-         Try to use another operator’s network or dial the number of the subscriber using SMS message**

-         **send messages to 9146 number, with the message text as: *146* & country code & phone number #

 

For example, to call the number 0037268680005

 

8.      THE INCOMING CALLS ARE OF BAD QUALITY (ONE WAY AUDIBILITY, NOISES, ECHO), OR IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CALL TO THE CARD, WHILE THE OUTGOING CALLS ARE OF NORMAL QUALITY

 

The possible reason

 

-         Bad quality of connection occurs with the operators, using, as a rule, VoiP connections, from which the incoming calls are initiated.

 

How to act

 

-         Call from the operators that have good quality connection with Estonia, for example, mobile networks operators

 

 

9. I own a Samsung or LG mobile device but it doesn’t work properly with

In order to make direct calls using SAMSUNG or LG handset you must activate the special compatibility mode.

Please find below some SAMSUNG models that were tested and work fine
in compatibility mode:

How to activate compatibility mode:

1. Open
menu
2. Select "Settings"
3. Agree with message by pressing "Yes"
4. Dial digits "1101" and select "OK" (Screen will show "CC OptionX: ON" message)



How to deactivate compatibility mode (it is necessary if customer would like to use not SAMSUNG handset):

1. Open
menu
2. Select "Settings"
3. Agree with message by pressing "Yes"
4. Dial digits "1102" and select "OK" (Screen will show "CC OptionX: OFF" message).

 

 

10.      IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SEND SMS MESSAGE

 

The possible reason

 

-         There is no money on the balance

-         Incorrect/withheld number of the center of SMS messages

-         Overflow of the SMS memory of the phone of the addressee

-         Incorrect number of the addressee

-         Your sim balance is less than 5 euro

 

 

How to act

 

-         Add balance

-         Dial the correct number +3725099000

-         Empty the memory

-         Send messages to a correct number
